David’s career path reflects a rich variety of experiences. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve for eight years, which included a year of active duty in Afghanistan. After receiving an inheritance following the passing of his grandparents, a family member introduced him to a financial advisor. This personal experience sparked his understanding of the importance of building a strong financial foundation. During his time at Washington State University, David became fascinated by the relationship between sociology and economics, particularly how societal norms and emotions influence financial decisions. Motivated by these insights, he graduated cum laude in 2019 with a degree in Social Sciences and Economics.
In 2018, David and his wife, Carolyn, relocated to the Flathead Valley, where he began his financial career working with the mortgage team at Glacier Bank in Whitefish. He joined Harris Financial in 2020, and through hard work and dedication, he advanced to the role of Wealth Advisor in January 2022. David thrives in this role, excelling within the collaborative, team-oriented approach that Harris Financial values highly.
David enjoys the relaxed atmosphere of small-town life and the opportunity to connect with nature in Montana. His hobbies include weightlifting, automotive mechanics, and motorsports. Energetic and social, David is always ready with a good joke. Together, he and Carolyn love hiking with their two dogs, Luke and Tahari, while exploring the natural beauty and outdoor adventures that Northwest Montana offers.
